<p>Il maltrattamento sulle persone di minore età è un'esperienza di vita complessa ed è quell'insieme di atti e carenze che turbano gravemente il bambino. Il maltrattamento non è un evento insolito, ma non è sempre riconosciuto e rappresenta un problema globale con esiti fisici, psicologici, sociali e relazionali che perdurano per tutta la vita.</p>

<p><em>Child maltreatment is a complex life experience happening when a parent or caregiver does an intentional or potential damage to a child, including acts of commission and omission. Child abuse is not an uncommon event, but it is not always recognized and represents a global problem with serious life-long physical, psychological, social and relational outcomes.</em></p>
