Riassunto
In letteratura viene riportata una ampia cross-reattività antigenica tra il latte vaccino (LV), il latte di capra (LC) e di pecora (LP). Descriviamo il caso caso di una reazione anafilattica al LP in una paziente allergica alle proteine del LV desensibilizzata con successo.
Questo caso clinico supporta i risultati di altri studi che hanno dimostrato come il 25,9% dei bambini allergici a LV trattati con immunoterapia orale (OIT) fosse ancora allergico a LC, LP o entrambi.
Pertanto, vorremmo sottolineare come i pazienti sottoposti a OIT per LV dovrebbero essere informati dell'importanza di evitare i prodotti contenenti LC e LP, a meno che non abbiano superato un test di provocazione.

Summary
Anaghylaxys to cow’s milk
A high degree of allergic cross-reactivity between cow’s milk (CM) and goat's and sheep's milk (GSM) exists. In this report we describe an anaphylactic reaction to sheep's milk in a patient successfully desensitized to CM proteins.
This case report supports the results of others studies that showed how 25.9% of CM allergic children treated with Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) were still allergic either to GM or SM or both.
Therefore, according to these results, we would like to emphasize that these patients should be advised of the importance of continuing to avoid GSM related products, unless they passed a supervised oral food challenge (OFC).
