Riassunto
La Società Italiana di Pediatria Preventiva e Sociale (SIPPS) è una Società scientifica pediatrica generalista che ha come ambito d’interesse la prevenzione e la medicina sociale dell’età evolutiva. Oltre alla pubblicazione di Consensus e documenti evidence-based, l’educazione alla salute è un obiettivo fondamentale di SIPPS che si realizza attraverso Guide e Manuali divulgativi ma scientificamente rigorosi. La “Guida pratica per i genitori. Il bambino nella sua famiglia” è uno strumento di informazione e formazione per genitori e caregivers: è finalizzata a potenziare la genitorialità e i contenuti affrontano tutti i settori di intervento del programma Nurturing Care Framework (NCF), a cui la Guida si ispira. Insieme agli esperti metodologi SIPPS, è stata posta particolare attenzione alla correttezza e all’appropriatezza di tutte le informazioni, coerenti con le Linee Guida e con le evidenze scientifiche disponibili. Il linguaggio semplice e divulgativo la rende fruibile ai genitori.

Summary
The education to health. The SIPPS experience
The Italian Society of Preventive and Social Paediatrics (SIPPS) is a generalist paediatric scientific society whose field of interest is prevention and social medicine of the developmental age. In addition to publishing evidence-based Consensus and documents, health education is one of the main aims of SIPPS; this is achieved through educational but scientifically rigorous Guides and Manuals. The "Practical Guide for Parents - The Child in His Family" is an informative and educational tool for parents and caregivers: the premises aim to enhance parenting, while the topics deal with all the areas of intervention of the Nurturing Care Framework (NCF) program, to which the Guide is inspired. Through the SIPPS methodology experts, particular attention has been given to the accuracy and adequacy of all information, in line with the Guidelines and the available scientific evidences. The simple and informative language makes it accessible to the parents.
